About the Role

Reclatam is hiring a Medical Records Specialist on behalf of a U.S.-based law firm. This role will support the legal team by managing medical records requests and maintaining communication with healthcare providers and treating facilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling high-volume case workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Request and manage medical records for active personal injury cases

  • Handle a caseload of approximately 100–120 active cases

  • Follow up consistently with healthcare providers and treating facilities to obtain records in a timely manner
  • Maintain professional relationships with medical offices and record departments
  • Track request statuses and ensure proper documentation is received and filed
  • Upload and organize records within the firms case management system

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of received documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience working with a personal injury law firm, requesting and following up on medical records and billing information.
  • Experience managing a high volume of active personal injury cases and multiple medical records and billing requests simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and U.S. medical data privacy requirements.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Reliable internet connection and strong phone connectivity

  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with healthcare facilities
  • Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
