About the job Legal Assistant
Reclatam is hiring on behalf of a U.S.-based law firm. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and bilingual Legal Assistant to support the firm with daily administrative and client service tasks. This is a great opportunity to work remotely with an established legal practice in the United States.
Responsibilities:

Contact auto insurance companies to set up claims.

Call medical providers/facilities to verify outstanding balances and confirm insurance billing.

Set up and manage subrogation claims with health insurance companies and third-party administrators.

Track and follow up on medical records requests and billing.

Maintain and update case management systems with medical records, bills, and case documents.

Draft and prepare initial letters (representation, subrogation, billing letters).

Communicate professionally with providers, adjusters, and insurance companies.

Request lien statements and declaration pages as needed.

Calendar and track important case deadlines.

Follow up on lien reduction requests with the billing department.

Assist attorneys and staff with additional administrative tasks as required.
Draft and answer discovery requests.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in legal, insurance, or administrative roles preferred.
- Experience drafting or answering discovery is highly valued.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using case management software and online communication tools.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.
