The Role

We are seeking a Contracts Manager, Sydney or Perth based, with a strong background in the construction sector to lead end-to-end contract administration across critical infrastructure projects. You'll work within a cross-functional project team, coordinating with contractors, legal advisors, and senior stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery, risk mitigation, and compliance.

This is a strategic role focused on the full contract lifecycle from negotiation to execution, reporting, claims management, and resolution of disputes.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure contract compliance including insurances, notices, claims, and change control.
  • Identify risks and proactively manage potential disputes or deviations.
  • Maintain clear and auditable records of all contract communications and variations.
  • Act as the commercial point of contact for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure contract adherence.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in construction, engineering, law, or related discipline.
  • Min. 5 years experience in contract management within construction or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and project lifecycles.
  • Confident communicator with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Prior exposure to disputes resolution and financial oversight is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction industry standards and software tools is advantageous.
