React Native Developer

Digitalisation and intelligent connectivity is a top trend for every part of the world economy. We develop connectivity solutions in the field of telematics, asset tracking, vehicle diagnostics and digitalisation of industrial production. One of the telematics systems we deal with is the BUS Connect and Rescue connect product line. There's a heavy load of new requests for extending the Rescue connect product as it's being deployed with various emergency squads in EU to help them on major incidents' sites. The mobile application architecture is undergoing a major review to enhance it sustainability for future extension, what demands your expert assessment and planning improvement roadmap.

You will be responsible for:

• Develop and deploy mobile applications, running on iOS, iPadOS and Android.
• Work closely with users and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Define and implement mobile applications that complement HW products.
• Build applications, that interact with in vehicle onboard units via Bluetooth (LE)/Wifi and with Cloud.
• Maintain state-of-the art development practices.
• Integrate third-party mobile applications into our systems as well as support and enhance implemented mobile applications.

Main skills:

• Solid experience with React Native;
• Strong Android, IoS, IpadOS knowledge;
• Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy, diverse profiles;
• Knowledge of mobile application frameworks, such as Xamarin, Android Studio, iOS SDK;
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps for rapid prototyping;
• Related programming languages C++, Java, Objective-C, C#;
• Google Play, Apple App Store, Jira, Confluence, GitLab would be an asset.

Personal skills:

• Fluency in English both written and spoken;
• High analytical thinking with attention to detail and problem solving attitude;
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills;
• Good team player with high ability to work in international teams;
• Previous experience working in an agile environment;
• University degree in Math, Physics, IT or relevant.
