Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT Infrastructure to lead our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT infrastructure projects and a deep understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the industry. The Head of IT Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the company's IT infrastructure strategy, in line with business goals and objectives.

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure systems, including networks, servers, storage, and security.

- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and tasks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve the company's IT infrastructure.

- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities.

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT infrastructure services and products.

- Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure systems, including networks, servers, storage, and security.

- Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization technologies.

- Familiarity with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.

- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Proven experience in developing and managing IT infrastructure budgets.

- Industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, MCSE, etc.) are a plus.
