Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. They will handle inquiries, schedule appointments, process orders, and ensure the laboratory's efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and provide prompt and accurate information.
  • Schedule appointments for laboratory tests and procedures.
  • Process patient orders and ensure accurate billing.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with laboratory technicians and medical staff.
  • Promote laboratory services and products.

Required Qualifications:

  • A medical educational background is preferable.
  • A bachelor's degree in sciences, agriculture, and pharmacology is preferable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computers and medical software.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • It is primarily seated in a laboratory or office setting.
  • It may require working evening and weekend shifts.
