Key Responsibilities: 

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, vendor contracts, employment agreements, and joint ventures.
  • Ensure all contracts align with applicable Egyptian and Gulf legal frameworks and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring clarity and enforceability of terms.
  • Advise on compliance with Egyptian and Gulf laws, including labor laws, commercial codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor legislative changes in Egypt and Gulf countries and assess their impact on existing and future contracts.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and external advisors to address complex legal and regulatory issues.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of contracts, from initiation to renewal or termination.
  • Develop and maintain a robust contract repository for easy retrieval and tracking of obligations and deadlines.
  • Implement and optimize contract management systems and tools for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with internal departments (e.g., procurement, HR, finance) to understand their contractual needs and provide strategic advice.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners to secure favorable terms for the company.
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve disputes or discrepancies.

Qualifications 

Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent. Masters degree in law (LLM) or a related field is preferred.

Minimum 7 up to10 years of experience in contract management, with a focus on Egyptian and Gulf legal systems.

  • Proven track record in handling cross-border contracts and multi-jurisdictional legal issues.
