They need someone who can build relationships with brands, come up with bespoke solutions and create campaigns that leverage their media estate of data, online, in-store and OOH.

This is a role for someone with 3-ish years experience working in a media sales, advertising sales, or in a retail/ FMCG sales environment. 

It's not a senior position, more like an account executive or client services executive level. Everyone says "self starter needed", but this is the case here. It is a new team, it operates as its own business, and it is going to grow.

Client Lead - Media Solution

Musgrave is looking to hire a Client Lead, in the Media Solutions Team, on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid, with some travel to offices in Dublin and Cork for meetings.

This role reports to the Client Services Manager in the Media Solutions Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and growth of the marketing, media and data monetisation opportunities for the company.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of the Media Solutions business, sales and revenue growth targets.

  • Working with a team of client service leads to deliver on budget in conjunction with the commercial teams and partner suppliers across all businesses, and further grow Media Monetization practice in Ireland.

  • Working closely with Campaign Planners to ensure activities are in line with Media Solutions annual calendar of events.

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with new clients to leverage opportunities to drive incremental and new growth.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Marketing and Media agencies to develop and grow new business opportunities for the area.

  • Negotiate annual plans with clients (new & existing suppliers) and agencies terms, rate cards, growth targets

  • Performance analysis & management, putting corrective action in place to ensure sales and growth targets are achieved.


Experience, Skills & Education:

The successful candidates will possess the following:

  • 3rd level degree in either a Sales, Marketing or other relevant business discipline.

  • Ideally you will have a minimum 3 years of experience in a Media Sales/Advertising role and in-depth knowledge of the Irish media market.

  • High levels of commercial acumen, excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills.

  • An ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, possess strong presentation and organisational skills.

  • Project management, people management and strong selling skills are essential.

  • Strong attention to detail, influencing, facilitation and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of industries outside of FMCG e.g. Health, Pharma, Automotive would be advantageous.

  • A specialist qualification in Media, Digital Marketing or Sales will be of advantage.
