Job Purpose/Role
Regional Ops Lead is responsible for Regional Technical Delivery of Service, Effectiveness in Customer Integration, Customer Experience and Own Major Incident Resolutions
Key responsibilities/What you do
• Actively contributes to the delivery of regional IT services
• Acts as Subject Matter Expert for respective region and related Service specifics
• Identifies interdependencies of global IT services to local specifics and mitigates associated risks • Provides functional and technical expertise for regional specifics
• Represents the IT service across the organization for IT service related questions, consulting, etc.
• Manages the risk of operating the regional IT service specifics
• Accountable for Horizontal Integration, Technical Ownership, Driving Automation, Managing Customer Escalations
• Responsible for Regional Delivery of Service
• Responsible for Integration of global IT service in local specifics
• Profound understanding of the overall IT architectures in the respective area
• Experience in risk assessment & Stakeholder Management
• Create standard procedures to enhance scalability and performance of existing database architecture.
• Ensure that database is developed according to business requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of database team.
• Develop best practices for performance and operational efficiency.
• Stay updated with new database technologies and analyze such technologies to bring into scope of existing infrastructure.
Key requirement /What you bring
University degree or comparable higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
At least 10 years’ overall IT experience and IT service delivery
Drive for excellence in operations/execution including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Able to manage client expectations, build trustworthy relationship with stakeholders
Customers centric behaviour (key users, management) must be evident from previous experience
Strong database fundamentals and Good understanding of core database concepts
Developed, documented and implemented improvements in corporate database security in areas of Authentication, Auditing, Authorization, and Encryption.
Strong Experience on Database Troubleshooting technical issues, Performance Tuning, Database Backup and Recovery, High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
Full professional proficiency in English
ITIL certification or an understanding of IT support and service management
