This position includes performing detailed requirements analysis, writing technical specifications, performing user acceptance testing, managing the cross-team collaboration and communication required for successful deployments. This role is also responsible for overseeing ongoing enhancements, effectively releasing new features and functions, and developing sound processes that ensure that business and technical requirements are effectively met.
This is not a traditional business analyst role, but a combination of systems and functional analyst with hands-on experience in pseudocode (Domain Specific Language) encoding of clinical rules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product requirements owner and key player to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, identify feature gaps, lead requirement gathering, design and development, management for a web-based clinical application.
Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile methodologies) from idea inception through scoping, requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance, maintenance support, and change management.
Spearhead a project, from initiation phase to closure and meet the milestones and timelines to deliver a quality product.
A software development mindset is needed for hands-on pseudo coding in a DSL (Domain Specific Language) and help test the code using an in-house testing tool.
Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, understand, analyze, and communicate business needs so that technical delivery teams can build effective solutions.
Create project and operational support documents which may include to business requirements documents, process and data flow diagrams, solution design specifications, implementation plans, and testing scripts and other documents as needed.
Write SQL queries to extract, understand, analyze, and validate data with respect to the business requirements and create ad-hoc reports.
Experience leading multiple projects or programs involving multiple stakeholders and leaderships with competing priorities in complex environments. Ability to thrive in a complex environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
7 to 8 years of work experience including experience managing the full implementation lifecycle and delivery of systems solutions (analyze, design, build, test, support).
Bachelor’s degree in technical field required, Master’s degree preferred.
Business Analysis and Agile Certifications a plus.
Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience with writing simple SQL Server queries & handling data requirements
Capability to analyze end-user clinical/technical requirements and recommend specific technical and/or workflow solutions to meet the need.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with both business and technical individuals
Ability to manage, drive, prioritize, perform and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously and with quality.
