RCS is seeking an Acquisition Support Lead to join an acquisition/contract support team delivering high-impact work for Navy medical research. The Acquisition Support Lead is responsible for team leadership, contract administration oversight, deliverable quality, client communication, and ensuring smooth onboarding, transition, and daily operations

This position requires the candidate to meet specific Security Clearance obligations to work onsite/hybrid in San Diego, CA.

What you will do:

  • Lead a team delivering contract modification support, invoice/COR processing, and post-award administration.
  • Supervise staff, assign and review contract deliverables, and coordinate with Government COR/KO.
  • Monitor project schedules, documentation flow, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and policies.
  • Facilitate transition-in/onboarding, implement process improvements, and manage routine risk documentation.
  • Support audit readiness by overseeing file management and regular process reviews.


Required Qualifications/Education:

  • Clearance: Able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
    • U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • 7+ years' relevant experience (or equivalent per GSA LCAT).
  • Experience leading teams on federal, DoD, or scientific/admin contracts.
  • Strong contract management, organizational, and client interface skills.
