Firefighter- UAE Nationals

To perform rescue and firefighting technics and tactics in line with ICAO & GCAA Standards and Recommended Practices.

Reports to the watch officer or leading fireman his immediate superior.

1. Responsible for inspecting fire appliances, media levels, firefighting and rescue equipment.
2. Ensure full understanding of vehicle and/or equipment and limitations to ensure utilization within design parameters.
3. Operate Fire Fighting and Rescue Equipment and Tools.
4. Respond to all relevant incidents and accidents within area of jurisdiction, scope of training and expertise.
5. Respond to all medical emergencies within area of jurisdiction and scope of training.
6. Adhere to safety standards and practices when responding to/from incidents & accidents.
7. Carry out fire and life safety programmes and prevention plans.
8. Undergo physical and theoretical training according to the Structured Learning Program.
9. Participate in fire, evacuations, medical and security drills and exercises.
10. Conduct risk and safety assessments.
11. Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOPs, operational standards, RAK AIRPORT policies.
12. and procedures, employee manual and Service Level Agreements.
13. Maintain the level of physical fitness necessary to carry out all the duties of a firefighter.
