This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and travel to some of the most exciting client sites throughout Europe. Our client is a rising star in the Audio Visual industry, and they're looking for a talented Project Manager to join their team. If you're an experienced Lead AV Engineer or an experienced Project Manager, this is your chance to shine. You'll be working on some of the most innovative AV projects in Europe, and you'll have access to outstanding training and development programmes.
Take charge of AV projects from start to finish by analysing client needs, design solutions, as well as overseeing implementation, commissioning, and support services. With your technical know-how and the support of your colleagues, you'll ensure project success and keep everything on budget and on time.
The Role:
- Create comprehensive project documentation, including detailed risk and method statements and project delivery plans.
- Oversee and schedule installation and maintenance work completed by the engineering teams, while also managing the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets to ensure the project remains on track financially and within budgetary constraints.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with all main contract conditions, providing clients with the highest level of satisfaction.
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the project, including on-site supervision of engineering, programming, and any third-party contractors.
- Produce regular project reports, highlighting potential risks and issues and managing them before escalation to keep the project on track.
- Manage the collection of all project handover details, ensuring a smooth delivery into ongoing support services for clients.
The Person:
We are looking for an exceptional Audio Visual (AV) Project Manager with a history of successful projects under their belt. You'll be a documentation wizard, producing high-quality project documents with ease. Your tech skills will be first class, working seamlessly with Microsoft Project, Visio, CAD software, and more. With your impressive presence, you'll be able to communicate effectively and confidently with clients, external consultants, and project consultants at the highest levels. You'll be a natural born leader, motivating and managing project implementation teams with ease. Bonus points for having an understanding of AV systems integration with IP networks and existing IT systems, and even better if you've acquired industry accreditation like Infocomm or Cedia.
Additional Information:
- Most projects are based in London, but there are ongoing projects in Europe, so please be aware that you may be required to work on some of these projects and this will involve travel (for which you will receive an enhanced rate of pay)
