We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of systems, networks, and security protocols. This role is fully remote and requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot technical issues, implement new technologies, and support both end-users and business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.

Manage system security, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data protection protocols.

Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity and performance.

Provide technical support to internal users and ensure minimal downtime for IT-related issues.

Implement and manage Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based applications.

Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and configure new software, hardware, and system upgrades.

Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for increased efficiency.

Document system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and best practices.

Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).

Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.

Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and macOS environments.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.

Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).

Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and Office 365 administration.

Proficiency in scripting languages for task automation.

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex technical issues.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Cisco CCNA.

Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.

Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
