Design & Prototyping Engineer — AI-Native

 Job Description:

Job Description:

Role: Take complex business requirements to usable product concepts and working prototypes, quickly and with little supervision.

Stack: HTML and CSS (required), React and TypeScript (a strong advantage), design systems, AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and more

Experience: You have designed and prototyped complex B2B SaaS or enterprise applications, typically with about [YEARS | 3]+ years in UX, product design or frontend roles.

English: C1 or higher

Contract: Full-time, indefinite B2B contract with Radity; you invoice Radity monthly in USD.

Location: Remote

Core hours: [09:00–18:00 CET], with evening overlap with US clients

The company
Radity is a Swiss-based software engineering company of 70+ people, fully remote and working mostly with US clients, many in insurance. It is founder-managed, with direct access to the CEO.

Its teams build business applications with data-heavy interfaces, forms and workflows. Radity is adding AI-native design and frontend prototyping next to its UX designers, so ideas reach a prototype people can test in short cycles.

You join a team with 2 Design Engineers and report to the CEO. This is not a pure UX design or marketing web role: you design the solution and build the prototype.

What you'll do

  • Turn business requirements into clear user flows and product concepts.
  • Design forms, workflows, dashboards and tables for data-heavy B2B applications.
  • Build functional prototypes, from plain markup to working frontend components.
  • Simplify complex processes and improve existing user journeys.
  • Use and extend existing design systems.
  • Iterate in short cycles on feedback and real product constraints.
  • Work directly with product, engineering and business stakeholders.

What you bring

  • Strong UX and product design: usability, interaction design and information architecture.
  • A portfolio of real application design, not mainly marketing websites.
  • Fast iteration: from requirement to prototype, feedback and a better version.
  • Reusable components and design-system thinking.
  • Comfort with incomplete or changing requirements, and the judgment to simplify.
  • AI tools as a normal part of your research, design and prototyping work.
  • Clear communication with product, engineering and business stakeholders.

Nice to have: finance, insurance or another complex business domain.
Not for you if you prefer a long, fully specified design process, or do not want to build prototypes yourself.

What Radity offers

  • Indefinite contract: not tied to the end date of one project.
  • Full equipment, paid AI tools and learning budget.
  • Global team events.
  • Startup-style projects for established clients, with real influence on direction.
  • Performance and salary reviews twice a year.
