Role Description

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our market presence in the UAE and broader Middle East region. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on business development and general management responsibilities. You'll be instrumental in building client relationships, developing our sales strategy, and driving revenue growth from the ground up. This position reports directly to the founders and includes P&L responsibility with significant autonomy in shaping the business direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate the Middle Eastern IT staffing market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies across various industries
  • Create persuasive proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and commercial terms with clients
  • Work closely with recruitment teams to understand staffing capabilities and ensure client requirements can be fulfilled
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine sales approach
  • Develop realistic sales forecasts and work diligently to achieve and exceed targets
  • Eventually build and lead a high-performing sales team as the business grows
  • Collaborate with European headquarters to align strategies and leverage cross-border opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven track record in IT services or staffing sales with a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in the UAE market
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and close deals in the competitive IT sector
  • Experience leading sales teams and developing sales strategies
  • Strong understanding of IT staffing processes, challenges, and market dynamics
  • Excellent negotiation skills with experience in structuring complex service agreements
  • Previous P&L responsibility and general management experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with startup experience and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of an organization
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to the broader team goal
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and handle both strategic and tactical aspects of the business
