Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and strategic Communications Consultant to join our client for an Oracle Fusion Implementation project in Abu Dhabi (onsite) and beyond. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing communication strategies that engage and inform stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This role is akin to a copywriter, focusing on crafting compelling content and ensuring alignment with both the internal communications team and project workstream leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication Strategy and Planning:
    • Collaborate with the internal communications team to understand and align with the yearly communications calendar.
    • Engage with project workstream leads, including the data team, process team, PMO, and project leadership, to gather insights and understand schedules requiring communication.
  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Draft and develop a variety of communication artifacts, including newsletters, stakeholder emails, announcements, and updates for the intranet page.
    • Create storyboards for promotional videos and podcasts centered around key project events and milestones.
    • Ensure all content is engaging, clear, and effectively captures the audience's attention.
  • Engagement and Measurement:
    • Build reports on the success of communication efforts, utilizing MS Office tools and ideally Power BI for data visualization.
    • Define and implement metrics for measuring the effectiveness and reach of communications, seeking continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Act as a liaison between the change team and various project workstreams, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a communications consultant or copywriter, with a strong portfolio of successful stakeholder communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information creatively and succinctly.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office tools for creating dashboards and reports, with experience in Power BI as an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to engage and captivate diverse audiences through various communication channels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in internal communications within large-scale transformation projects or ERP implementations.
  • Familiarity with creating multimedia content, including video and audio storyboarding.
  • Arabic language skills would be an advantage but are not required.
