Overview
A Dredging Project Manager is responsible for delivering a project successfully within the project objectives and execution schedule. They oversee and track the project's financial and operational performance, perform budget controls, and introduce mitigations when the project status deviates from the objectives. The Project Manager translates the company's policy towards employees, engineers, and third parties, organizes and supervises the execution of works described in the contract, and ensures all legal and contractual requirements are met. They report to the head office and are responsible for the safety, health, and environmental performance of employees and subcontractors, executing work in accordance with local environmental prescriptions and regulations.
The Project Manager has the power to defend the company's viewpoints, set up project structures, and divide and delegate tasks and responsibilities to site staff. They also study and implement methods to increase production. They are accountable for occupational health and safety on the project and serve as the main interface with the client for all matters. The Project Manager is responsible for all project activities, including HSE, and is supported by the Project HSE Representative for HSE matters.
The Project Manager's objective is to organize, manage, monitor, and control the project organization, execution, and budget to undertake the scope of work and achieve standards of quality, schedule, and costs as laid down in the contract. They are involved in planning, organizing, deciding, delegating, executing, and controlling various aspects of the project, including financial results, progress of works, daily activities of site staff, and performance of labour.
The Project Manager has specific tasks concerning HSE, such as carrying out HSE inspections and organizing toolbox meetings. They are committed to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and the Quality Management System, ensuring the availability of resources, designating project representatives, and demonstrating commitment towards continual improvement of performance and prevention of pollution.

We are looking for the right candidate bringing in:
- Strong background in dredging operations including managing production activities, coordinating equipment and personnel, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing project efficiency and budget management.
- Previously engaged in large scale dredging projects, not limited to capital and maintenance dredging as Superintendent or Works Manager
- 8 to 15 years of experience with Dredging & Reclamation projects
- Bachelors or Masters Degree
- Experienced handling Dredging operations with propelled and self-propelled TSHD, CSD and BHD
- Experience with Floating and Sinker Pipeline operation management.
