Job Scope:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 3-5 AP professionals.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Oversee the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, verification, and payment.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in compliance with company policies.
- Manage AP reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain AP policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Prepare regular AP reports and analysis for management review.
- Monitor and analyze key AP metrics to ensure performance targets are met.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end closing and financial reports.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve any issues related to payments.
- Negotiate payment terms and manage vendor communications effectively.
- Work closely with other departments, including finance, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless AP operations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proven track record of managing a team of 3-5 AP professionals.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (both spoken and written) is required.
- Strong understanding of AP processes and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work in Cyberjaya.
