Job Summary:

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our online retail operations. This includes strategic planning, website maintenance, digital marketing, inventory management, customer service, and overall e-commerce performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and have a passion for driving business growth in the online retail space.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company's e-commerce strategy, including defining objectives, KPIs, and action plans to achieve targeted goals.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's e-commerce website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic, sales, and conversion rates, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, inventory management, IT, and customer service, to ensure effective coordination of all e-commerce activities.
  • Manage and maintain product catalog, including product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and affiliate marketing, to drive traffic and increase online sales.
  • Implement and manage online merchandising strategies, including product positioning, promotions, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and ensure the company's e-commerce platform remains competitive.
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and provide insights and recommendations for enhancing the company's online presence and customer experience.
  • Manage and lead a team of e-commerce professionals, providing guidance, feedback, training, and support to foster their professional growth and ensure departmental success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing e-commerce operations, preferably in a retail/ FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, tools, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing e-commerce strategies that drive business growth.
  • Proficient in website analytics tools and digital marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Passionate about e-commerce and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
