Our client is a well-known manufacturing company in Malaysia.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the leadership working capabilities and culture: Stabilize and uplift the team's skills to the next level by fostering continuous improvement and collaboration among leaders.
- Deliver innovative people and culture solutions: Implement innovative strategies that create tangible business value from HR and align with organizational goals.
- Reshape the working culture: Promote compliance and create an inclusive workplace that values diversity and fosters a sense of belonging for all employees.
- Establish clear process and transparent HR practices: Ensure well-defined, consistent, and transparent HR practices throughout the organization.
- Ensure leaders have necessary knowledge and systems: Equip leaders with the knowledge, skills, and systems needed for success.
- Align organization purpose, values, culture, and strategy: Work towards aligning these elements to drive overall success.
- Build and lead an effective team: Create a collaborative and high-performing HR team that works together towards achieving organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, with postgraduate qualifications being desirable.
- Substantial leadership experience in managing the HR function within a manufacturing organization, preferably with experience in handling unions in the Malaysian manufacturing context, will be valuable.
- Strong technical skills in HR policies, practices, and learning & development models are essential, along with comprehensive knowledge of local labour laws and regulations related to industrial relations management.
- Operational familiarity and proficiency in managing various operational HR aspects are required, and experience in a multinational corporation is preferred.
