We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support our sales team by delivering expert consultation, preparing tender proposals, and responding to RFPs/RFIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-sales activities within the technology sector, with expertise in shaping solutions that meet client needs. Experience in supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Consultation:
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to understand client needs and design tailored solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and consultative support throughout the pre-sales process to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and solution workshops to showcase the value of proposed solutions.
- Proposal and Documentation Management:
- Lead the preparation of tender proposals, including Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) responses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, marketing) to ensure accurate, compelling, and customer-focused proposals.
- Ensure that all proposals are in line with company standards and meet client specifications, timelines, and quality requirements.
- Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Engage with prospective clients to identify their requirements and objectives, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs.
- Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and delivery of solutions that align with client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to position the company as a trusted advisor.
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Expertise (Advantageous):
- Support sales and technical teams in crafting solutions involving Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations on how RPA can optimize client processes and deliver operational efficiencies.
- Stay updated on trends and advancements in RPA technologies to effectively support sales initiatives.
- Sales Support and Enablement:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to win new business and retain existing clients.
- Identify potential risks and challenges during the pre-sales process and propose mitigating strategies.
- Support sales teams in preparing presentations, client pitches, and other pre-sales materials.
- Market and Industry Research:
- Conduct research on emerging industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to help shape the company's solutions and go-to-market strategies.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on client needs and market gaps that could be addressed by future product enhancements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role.
- Proven experience in leading tender proposals, RFP, and RFI responses.
- Strong understanding of software and technology solutions, with the ability to translate technical details into business outcomes.
- Experience in supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific best practices and emerging trends.
