Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified HR Manager to join our dynamic and growing retail organization. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resources functions, ensuring the effective management of our greatest asset our people.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and selection strategies to attract top-tier talent in alignment with the company's values and culture.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, review resumes, conduct interviews, and make sound hiring decisions.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training.

2. Employee Relations and Policies:

  • Establish and maintain positive employee relations by addressing queries, providing counseling, and resolving conflicts promptly and fairly.
  • Develop company policies and procedures in compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to employees to foster a supportive work environment.

3. Performance Management and Development:

  • Design and implement performance management systems, including setting goals, conducting performance appraisals, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with managers to design and deliver relevant development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Support career development initiatives, including succession planning and talent development programs.

4. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive market positioning and compliance with relevant laws.
  • Collaborate with finance and payroll departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and management of benefits programs.
  • Conduct regular salary benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive compensation packages.

5. Compliance and Employee Engagement:

  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, industry regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities to foster a positive work culture.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations following established guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR management experience, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
