Group Consolidation & Management Reporting Lead

As a Group Consolidation & Management Reporting Lead in a people management position, the role holder will report into the Group Financial Controller.

You will be accountable for directing and managing the full suite of group management reporting as well as annual budgeting consolidation for the Senior Managements review.

Key duties include:

  • Leading the monthly group reporting with variance analysis on key business drivers, and ensuring submissions to Group reporting timelines.
  • Spearheading annual budgeting cycle, and driving corporate deliverables for budget submissions from various business units.
  • Target-setting and analysis with various business units.
  • Carry out analysis on Group performance such as detailed monthly performance trends and reporting of KPI against target, and identifying possible issues throughout the month.
  • Perform data quality checks across all reporting systems to ensure integrity of reports published.
  • Identify variance analysis from budget and forecasts with recommendations for potential solutions and improvements.
  • Work closely with the business areas to thoroughly understand the drivers of performance and success in the business.
  • Challenge decisions, manage performance, set financial targets, analyze and interpret historical and predicted data and provide sound financial commentary.
  • Ensure accuracy of numbers for management reporting.
  • Leading of Business Intelligence system enhancement projects that enable timely management reporting.
  • Design of new business reports, ongoing improvements and re-engineering of existing reports to support the business needs.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects and risk management.


The Successful Applicant

  • Accountancy, Finance or other relevant Degrees 
  • ACCA, CPA or CFA certification will be an added advantage
  • Solid knowledge in business analysis, analyzing large data sets and information management
  • Exposure to large ERPs (SAP) and business intelligence tools is ideal
  • Ability to work with diverse teams across multiple geographies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
