Job Description:

  • Full Set of Accounting: Prepare and maintain a full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., Bursa Malaysia).
  • Management Accounting: Prepare and analyze management reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Bursa Reporting: Ensure accurate preparation and timely submission of quarterly reports to Bursa Malaysia, ensuring compliance with listing requirements.
  • Tax Compliance: Handle corporate tax matters, including tax computation, submissions, and liaising with tax authorities.
  • Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring proper implementation and adherence to audit requirements.
  • Property Development Accounting: Manage project costing, progress billing, and revenue recognition in line with property development standards.
  • System & Process Improvement: Continuously improve accounting processes, including ERP system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with project teams, finance managers, and senior management to provide financial insights and support project decision-making.


Job Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) are highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a public listed property development company.
  • Bursa Reporting Knowledge: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Bursa Malaysia reporting and compliance.
  • Accounting Standards: Familiarity with local and international financial reporting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
  • Management Accounting: Experience in preparing and analyzing management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • IFCA Knowledge: Proficiency in using IFCA system.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders across departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify financial trends and provide actionable recommendations.
