RTR Specialist (EU Shift 1pm-10pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with local BU to ensure subledgers are closed off in timely manner to assist the financial close timeline.
• Ensure month-end journals are prepared in accordance with company accounting policies and conform with local and HQ accounting standards/ principles.
• Balance sheet reconciliation - Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled to subledger and any significant variances reported.
• Understand statutory requirements for fixed assets maintenance and processing.
• Assist migration work from local business units to shared service center.
• Develop and update workflows and user guides for GL processing.
• Ensure verification of inventories subledger existence, classification and valuation method.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or related fields.
• Approximately 2-3 years of working experience under a SSC GL function.
• Hands-on experience in journal entries posting, reconciliation and month-end closing. 
• Inventory accounting knowledge will be an added advantage. 
• Prior experience in migration under an SSC environment. 
• Technically sound with strong ability to multitask. 
• Able to support EU hours 1pm-10pm.
