About the job Head of Digital Representative, Automotive
Our client is a regional full-stack insurance technology (insurtech) group of companies
providing cutting-edge digital insurance solutions to businesses and consumers in the Southeast Asia region.
In this position, you will be responsible to develop an active ecosystem across the automotive industry for future cross-selling and upselling via technology as an enabler. The challenge is to recruit and manage digital representatives out of dealers and groups who have significant influence within the automotive industry in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Connect, acquire and sign-up potential digital representatives (via dealers and automotive groups) critical to the overall strategy and objectives as determined by the Company.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts with a focus on building deep and lasting relationships to capture market share and increase profitability/revenue.
- Drive growth for accounts, measured by number of Digital Representatives and revenue.
- Ensure that Users and Digital Representatives thrive on the platform.
- Analyze data and develop initiatives to increase revenues/profitability and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Work across functions to tailor account specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, marketing support, integrations, product, etc) to make sure accounts have the best possible experience on the platform.
- Negotiate contracts and supporting pricing strategy within set parameters.
- Provide training and support to key accounts.
- Collaborate with Growth for broader go-to-market approach.
- Oversee the development and management of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Requirement
- 9 years of experience in insurance industry focusing on dealer acquisition, and listing revenue/sales with proven sales record, preferably in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of dealer operations and systems are distinct advantages
- Self-initiated, and motivated to overachieve, working with high productivity while paying attention to detail
- Avid learner and problem solver
- Independent and collaborative team player
- Confident hunter who is able to articulate sales pitches clearly with an ability to connect quickly with the audience
