SUMMARY:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, seeks an associate with one to three years of litigation experience to join their firm. While this role is in their Health Care Litigation Practice Group, the associate may participate in a range of commercial litigation, both related and unrelated to health care. This role provides the chance for substantive participation in prominent and active litigation matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support defense strategies in False Claims Act (FCA), government investigations, and healthcare fraud cases.
- Handle all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, including managing discovery, document review, and case strategy.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery requests/responses.

- Examine complex medical records, analyze medical-legal issues, and collaborate with medical experts.
- Engage regularly with clients, insurance professionals, and co-defendants to provide case updates.
- Participate in a range of commercial litigation, both related and unrelated to health care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1–3+ Years of Experience in complex litigation, with a specific focus in Healthcare, Commercial, or Government Enforcement matters.
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record.
- A Federal or State Appellate Clerkship is Required.
- Active New Jersey Bar Membership in Good Standing.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills; ability to manage high-volume dockets and work independently.
