Role Overview
We are seeking a Proposal Writer / Marketing Analyst to support our Business Development team by supporting the end-to-end proposal generation as well as marketing content development. This role will report to Sr. Manager Business Development and will support the bids and capture team. The core responsibility of this role will be to help develop high-quality, accurate, and compliant proposals for enterprise IT engagements.in a timely manner.
This is an execution-focused role with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, structured writing, and analytical review of proposal content.
This role will be based in India, under Quantum Strides India Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quantum Strides LLC. This role will work closely with the Senior Manager – Business development to develop responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs), manage end-to-end proposal responses, and coordinate cross-functional inputs to deliver high-quality, compliant submissions for US-based and global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deep study of the RFPs / business opportunities that the company chooses
- to pursue
- Develop and maintain client-facing proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and bid documents
- Gather inputs from technical, delivery, and sales teams and convert them into well-
structured proposals
- Ensure proposal content aligns with customer requirements, compliance criteria, and company standards
- Validate pricing tables, totals, effort estimates, and numeric accuracy before
- submission (Attention to detail is Key)
- Use AI tools responsibly for content generation while ensuring final output follows
- company structure and tone
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager – Business Development for review,
- refinement, and final sign-off
- Create reusable proposal templates, case studies, and standard content blocks
- Support light marketing content such as blogs, capability decks, and company
- collateral
- Maintain confidentiality and security of proposal and customer information
- Continuously improve proposal quality, turnaround time, and win-readiness
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in IT proposal writing / proposal analysis
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail, especially with numbers, pricing, and effort calculations
- Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions in clear business language
- Experience working on proposals in similar domains such as ERP solutions, large scale enterprise software implementation is preferred.
- Comfortable working independently under tight timelines
- Basic understanding of proposal lifecycle (including RFP, RFQ, RFI, bids)
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to enterprise platforms such as IBM Maximo, TRIRIGA, MREF, ServiceNow,
- or ERP systems
- Experience supporting US-based sales or business development teams
- Familiarity with structured proposal frameworks and compliance matrices
- Prior experience in a proposal analyst, proposal coordinator, or marketing analyst
