Role Overview

We are looking for a AWS DevOps Engineer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in AWS, Python-based CDK development, CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes (EKS). This is a remote (work-from-home) role where you will collaborate with distributed engineering teams to build scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK with Python.

  2. Create modular, reusable, and maintainable constructs for scalable infrastructure.

  3. Provision and manage AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

  4. Automate deployment workflows and operations using Python, Bash, and related tooling.

  5. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based).

  6. Manage and integrate multiple Bitbucket repositories with consistent automation standards.

  7. Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes / Amazon EKS.

  8. Monitor system performance, optimize infrastructure cost, and enforce security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. 4-6 years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.

  2. Strong proficiency with AWS CDK (Python).

  1. Proficient in using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) with Python to define, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure as code.

  2. Experienced in writing modular, reusable, and maintainable CDK constructs for scalable environments.

  1. Solid knowledge of AWS cloud stack & networking fundamentals.

  1. Strong knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

  2. Hands-on experience designing and managing infrastructure within AWS for production workloads.

  1. Experience with automation scripting (Python, Bash).

  1. Skilled in developing automation scripts and tooling (Python, Bash, etc.) to streamline infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.

  2. Focused on reducing manual intervention and improving efficiency through automation.

  1. Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines & Git workflows.

  1. Deep understanding of Git branching strategies and workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development).

  2. Experienced in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.

  3. Skilled at managing and integrating multiple Bitbucket repositories, ensuring consistent workflows and pipeline automation across projects.

  1. Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.

  1. Proficient with Docker for containerization and image optimization.

  2. Strong experience with Kubernetes for orchestration and managing containerized workloads.

  3. Hands-on expertise with Amazon EKS for deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in AWS.

Nice to Have

  1. Exposure to Terraform or CloudFormation.

  2. Experience with logging/monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

  3. Understanding of AWS cost and security optimization practices.
