Quality Recruitment Services has partnered with a market-leading, multi-national organisation providing world-class support services in the mining and industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our client's team in Beresfield, NSW.

About the Role

As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of goods and chemicals, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain good housekeeping practices within the store
Correctly store goods and chemicals
Conduct pre-start checks on forklifts
Ensure proper PPE is worn when performing tasks
Manage inventory control and record material allocations
Update Inward/Outward Registers
Load and unload delivery vehicles
Issue tools and supplies to internal staff
Assist with material preparation for sales when required
Participate in regular stocktakes
Perform local errands for the store as needed
Support the Equipment Stores Coordinator when required

Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and maintaining zero safety incidents
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Make strategic decisions that support business operations and identify new opportunities
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
Work efficiently and effectively under the direction of the Work Supervisor

Skills & Experience Required

Current Forklift Licence (essential)
Current manual "C" Class Drivers Licence (essential)
Full working rights in Australia (essential)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening (essential)
Basic computer literacy with the ability to learn in-house software
Previous stores experience (preferred but not essential)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Sound language and literacy skills
