The Role:
As a Belt Splicer, your key responsibilities include:
Handling conveyor belt systems and associated components (roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaners, tracking units, and chutes)
Operating conveyor vulcanizing and belt handling equipment
Installing, changing out, and refurbishing rollers and frames
Working with steel cord, fabric, and woven belts
Applying knowledge of skirting systems and conveyor structures
Ensuring high safety standards and effective communication in a team environment
Working remotely and adapting to varying climates
POH Perth Must be based in or able to get to Perth for point of hire
What You Need:
Essential:
- Australian working rights
- Working at Heights ticket
- Drivers Licence & White Card
- Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate or equivalent hands-on experience
- Dogman/Basic Rigging
- EWP & Forklift Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & Lab DAS
