Required immediately as SALES CONSULTANT for our client with Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life sciences, business, or related field (Masters preferred) with 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, sales training, or related roles

Sales Consultant will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing training programs aimed at improving the knowledge, skills, and  performance of the sales team and project team. Your goal will be to ensure that all sales representatives are well-versed in product knowledge, industry regulations, and effective sales techniques to meet and exceed the company's sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs, workshops, and materials for new hires and existing sales staff, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, compliance, and industry trends.
  • Sales Techniques Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales representatives, helping them enhance their selling skills, customer interactions, and closing techniques.
  • Product Knowledge: Train sales teams on the company's pharmaceutical products, including drug mechanisms, benefits, side effects, and how they compare to competitor products.
  • On boarding: Facilitate on boarding training sessions for new sales recruits, ensuring they are fully prepared for their roles with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Assess and track the progress of sales personnel through performance evaluations, feedback sessions, and continuous learning programs.
  • Industry Compliance: Ensure all sales teams are up-to-date with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical guidelines, particularly in regard to pharmaceutical sales.
  • Field Training Support: Provide in-field support by conducting shadowing sessions with sales representatives, offering real-time feedback and coaching.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Gather feedback from trainees, monitor training effectiveness, and report progress to the management team, suggesting areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and medical teams to align training programs with business goals, sales strategies, and product launches.
  • Stay Updated: Continuously update your knowledge on pharmaceutical products, market trends, and competitors to keep training content relevant and effective.

Skills :

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and industry regulations.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering sales training programs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coach and motivate sales teams to achieve high performance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-learning software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in field sales within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Certification in sales or training is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital training tools and platforms.
  • Ready to travel extensively with on ground field team (20 days a month)

Salary- Rs 1 Lakh per month 

( Incentive will be around Rs 25,000/- as per interview)
