Main Duties:

  • Oversee the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
  • Design and update menus based on seasonal availability, customer preferences, and food trends
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and high-quality food presentation
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen team members to maintain a high standard of performance
  • Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste to maintain profitability
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manage inventory, ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Create and enforce standard operating procedures for kitchen tasks and food preparation
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to keep the menu innovative and competitive
  • Handle kitchen scheduling, staffing levels, and conflict resolution when necessary
  • Work closely with restaurant management to align food service with overall business goals

What skills do you need?

  • Proven experience in similar positions
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Fluency in English are essential
