Main Duties:
- Oversee the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
- Design and update menus based on seasonal availability, customer preferences, and food trends
- Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and high-quality food presentation
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen team members to maintain a high standard of performance
- Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste to maintain profitability
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen environment
- Collaborate with suppliers and manage inventory, ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed
- Create and enforce standard operating procedures for kitchen tasks and food preparation
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to keep the menu innovative and competitive
- Handle kitchen scheduling, staffing levels, and conflict resolution when necessary
- Work closely with restaurant management to align food service with overall business goals
What skills do you need?
- Proven experience in similar positions
- Strong leadership skills
- Fluency in English are essential
