Qashier is looking for an amazing Head of Sales to support our growth!
We are a dynamic and fast growing team that is excited about commerce, retail and payments, and the opportunity to transform these industries with data and technology.
We are looking for passionate individuals that can spearhead the growth of the company by leading a passionate Business Development team to drive acquisition of new merchants in the SME segment to grow our merchants base.
If you have knowledge and/or keen interest in the area of point of sale, payment systems, account management and B2B sales, this role might be for you.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for total team goals. You will be the key driver in developing action plans towards achieving/exceeding the overall team's monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Oversee and manage a team of Business Development Executives/Manager. You will be tasked to set clear objectives, monitor progress and identify gaps with clear plans to improve the team's competency
- Form and collaborate closely with other other functions (marketing, operations, finance etc) to effectively drive merchant acquiring strategic plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants on the acquisition front and also drive referrals from these key stakeholders. It is key to support the BD team in their efforts to close merchants effectively
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in B2B sales/merchant acquiring/bd. Experience in point of sale and payment systems and/or retail/F&B operations is a plus
- Experience in leading and managing sales teams
- Proven ability in building and executing sales strategies / plans
- Strong sense of ownership and results driven
- Passionate about technology, payments in the F&B/retail space
