About the job Merchant Onboarding Coordinator
We are looking for a highly organized and tech-savvy Merchant Onboarding Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work with a wide range of clients, including restaurants, retail stores, beauty salons, and other businesses, to convert their physical menus, product lists, or service offerings into digital formats compatible with our point-of-sale (POS) systems. You will ensure that all menu items, prices, descriptions, and images are accurately represented in a digital format to enhance both the customer experience and business efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include managing the conversion process, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with both internal teams and clients to ensure seamless integration of digital menus or product/service listings into our POS systems. You will also assist clients with maintaining and updating their digital content to keep everything current and functional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert clients' physical menus, product lists, or service offerings into digital formats for integration into POS systems.
- Collaborate with clients from various industries (restaurants, retail, beauty, etc.) to gather all relevant details such as items/services, descriptions, prices, and images, and ensure accurate representation in the POS system.
- Ensure digital menus and lists are formatted correctly and optimized for the clients specific POS interface.
- Work closely with the technical support team to troubleshoot any issues related to menu or product display.
- Assist clients with configuring special features, such as discounts, promotions, or seasonal offerings, within the POS system.
- Conduct testing of digital menus or product lists to ensure they function as intended and offer suggestions for improvements.
- Provide training and documentation to clients on how to manage and update their digital content in the POS system.
- Ensure all menu or product data is entered and updated in a timely manner, following the clients specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Hospitality, Retail, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with POS systems or working in a tech-driven environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with menu structures, product lists, or service offerings across various industries (restaurant, retail, beauty, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of POS systems (e.g., Square, Toast, Clover, etc.) and their menu or product integration processes.
- Proven ability to work with clients to implement digital solutions.
- Proficiency in using office software (Excel, Google Sheets) and basic image editing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
