Merchant Operations Lead

Qashier is looking for an amazing Merchant Operations Lead to support our growth!

As a Merchant Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading the team and executing the entire merchant operations from end to end, including managing cross-functional communication and deliver a quality support that meets merchant needs and business goals.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the operational process, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day merchant operations to create smooth workflow and ensure established procedures are followed.
• Work with various stakeholders, including sales and product teams to achieve operational goals.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality.
• Assigning tasks, setting performance goals, and providing ongoing and constructive feedback.
• Coach, and develop the team, and provide an atmosphere in which they may thrive through encouragement and empowerment.
• Control resources and make use of assets to meet qualitative and quantitative goals.
• Use key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analytics to create reports on the effectiveness of operations and to drive informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Technology, or Hospitality
• Good knowledge of network systems, payments, or point of sale systems is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
• Resourceful and possess a broad set of additional skills including communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a strong ability to multitask.
