What You'll Do

  • Drive Merchant Acquisition:
    • Proven outbound sales specialist with in-depth expertise in Malaysia's payment landscape
    • Identify and generate new leads, build pipelines, nurture them, and convert sales opportunities through calls, emails, direct sales, and referrals.
    • Youll be part of a dynamic, high-performing team where your sales experience and drive is expected to help you thrive and make a meaningful impact from day one.
  • Consult and Close Deals:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to merchants by identifying their payment needs and presenting QashierPay's innovative solutions. Whether it's the QashierPay Terminal for seamless in-store payment acceptance, the Soundbox for secure and effortless QR payments across all popular platforms, or online payment tools like e-invoice management and PayByLink, you'll deliver tailored recommendations that drive business efficiency.
    • Skillfully negotiate and close deals, onboarding new merchants to QashierPay and equipping them with cutting-edge payment technology to enhance their operations and customer experience.
  • Onboard New Merchants:
    • Assist with onboarding by setting up and deploying the Qashier system, ensuring each merchant's specific requirements are met.
    • Work closely with the Operations team to provide a seamless experience from sale to system deployment.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    • Work closely with the Business Development, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth, efficient acquisition process.

Requirements

  • Experience in Sales: Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or business development, ideally within the payments or payments-related fintech industries.
  • Understanding of the POS & Payments Landscape: Strong knowledge of the Malaysian payment ecosystem, including payment systems, methods, and market trends, is highly advantageous.
  • Proven Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to build rapport and present solutions effectively to merchants.
  • Goal-Oriented and Results-Driven: High level of motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Educational Background: A diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with strong, relevant experience.
