Qashier is looking for a Regional People Specialist to support our growth!

We are a dynamic and fast-growing team excited about commerce, retail, and payments and the opportunity to transform these industries with data and technology.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in shared service for HR programs and Compensation & Benefits management across Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines), ensuring compliance with local regulations, managing benefit programs, and maintaining SOPs for Regional People Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

HR System and Data Management:
Support the management and updates of HRIS and related systems, ensuring that employee details especially employee movement and compensation and benefits data are accurate and up-to-date.

 Employee Documentation & Letter Preparation:

Prepare administrative documents such as Letter of Employment, Certificate of Employment, and Confirmation Letters.

 Ensure that all letters comply with company policies and local regulations.

 Compensation and Benefits Management:

Administer compensation and benefits programs across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines ensuring alignment with local market standards and company policies.

Provide input and support for salary reviews, bonus programs, and incentive structures.

Ensure accurate processing and management of benefits enrollments, deactivations, and updates, including insurance, medical benefits, and other employee perks.

Support audit processes related to compensation and benefits and ensure accurate documentation.

 Performance & Payroll Support:

Assist with the execution and tracking of performance review cycles to ensure completion on schedule.

Support the payroll team in ensuring that salary, bonus, and benefit payouts are processed accurately and on time.

Process Improvement & Policy Development:

Review existing processes and identify opportunities for process improvements within the Regional People Operations processes.

Regional Stakeholder Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR and business teams across regions, providing expertise in compensation and benefits practices.

Liaison with External Partners:
Maintain relationships with external partners, insurance providers, and vendors to manage benefits offerings and resolve employee issues.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in HR Administration, Compensation and Benefits, or a related role within a shared service capacity.

Systems Proficiency: Experience working with HRIS platforms and data management tools (Excel, G-Sheets).

Documentation Expertise: Experience in preparing employee documentation, including letters and contractual agreements.

Process-Oriented: Demonstrated experience in process improvements and policy updates within HR or compensation functions.

Regulatory Knowledge: With good understanding of local labor laws and regulations in the Southeast Asia region.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

 Attention to Detail: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
