Accounting Lead

At Q2 HR Solutions, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounting Lead to oversee our financial operations and lead the accounting team. This role is ideal for a CPA with strong leadership capabilities and a solid background in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning within a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and business performance
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making initiatives
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Experience in strategic planning is an advantage
