Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Research, track, maintain and update leads via outgoing calls to develop new business.
- Contact prospects to qualify leads via SQL., (MQL) direct email marketing to key clients and prospects.
- Research and maintain lead generation database.
- Developing a complete understanding of key account needs and resolving key client issues and complaints.
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
- Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts and establishing a timeline of performance.
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account.
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
- Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts
- Working with operations partners to conduct service dry runs, testing and ensure the solution services run smoothly and exceed client expectations.
- Working with sales team, solution delivery and service partners, marketing, and other team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of service are being provided based on all client requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Sales and Project Management/Operations from the Transportation and/or Logistics industry.
- Experience in business development, project management and operations
- MUST have Bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field.
- Candidates with a Masters degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales as key account manager and providing solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Self-motivated - able to function in a new office with a small number of employees and self-driven to adapt to the changes of a start-up environment.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Fast learner and technologically savvy, able to pick up new tools quickly.
- Cool-headed and patient, able to maintain professionalism during times of disputes and ability in problem-solving and resolve issues calmly, even when under pressure.
- Able to do shift work and work during odd hours, to ensure operations are not disrupted during the entire day.
- Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
