Job Description
Job Objective/s:
Ensures that budget data are accurately consolidated and timely presented to Management for review and approval.
Provides Management with timely and accurate reports for each company under the Group. The role is also responsible for providing vital information for new projects and the like by providing the requisite financial analyses.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Budget preparation and consolidation
- Prepares budget guidelines and implementation procedures as approved by Management
- Conducts site plant visits to kick-off the budget review process and to carry out budget reviews.
- Consolidates, on a per plant basis, all budget data and information provided by finance staff.
- Monthly actual vs budget report preparation - Prepares monthly variance analyses and consolidates monthly management reports for each company/plant. Monitors plant performance against targets set by management.
- Budget re-forecast as required by Management - Maintains and updates financial models for the annual budget review and conducts re-forecasts as required by Management.
- Review of monthly billings - Reviews monthly billings to clients prior to finalization.
- Review of Expenditure Proposals - Reviews Expenditure/Project Proposals and corresponding Cost-Benefit analyses
- Financial valuation and analyses - Conducts various financial analyses like valuation, due diligence work, tariff structuring and analysis, among others.
- Other related tasks such as:
- Provides support for the monitoring, update, and creation of new Cost Center and Project codes for the SAP financial system.
- Provides support to Insurance, BD and Commercial departments, as needed.
- Attends to other tasks/projects as assigned by the CFO, Deputy CFO, and Finance Manager.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
- MUST be either a CFA/CPA/MBA.
- At least 5 years of work experience in Financial Planning and Budget preparation.
- Good understanding of financial statements.
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willing to work onsite Monday-Friday (flexi-time)
- Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City.
