The Cloud Generation Specialist plays a crucial role in helping our partners sell Cloud Services to prospects. Youll assess needs, set appointments for Channel Account Managers, and drive key metrics to support our growth. Your primary success metrics will be securing 12 signed partners, and 6 activated (transacting) partners to the companys platform each month and using your expertise to increase potential partner monetisation by focusing on a specific, strategic vendor.

About the Role:

As a CGS, youll be a key part of our sales team, contributing to corporate sales goals. You'll participate in a development program to build and master foundational sales skills, offering uncapped earning potential and a clear career path.

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Develop New Business/Partner Recruitment
  • Conduct a high volume of calls daily to introduce the clients Cloud Services
  • Utilize email and social media for mass communication to identify potential new Channel Partners
  • Provide a high-level overview of the clients products and sevices
  • Set appointments to recruit new Channel Partners to the clients program, aiming for 12 signed partners and 6 active partners per month
  • Partner Engagement and Solution Adoption
  • Work closely with prospective partners to understand their business and get them to adopt new solutions.
  • Propose value added solutions by focusing on Security, SoS, Academy and Professional Service products
  • Maintain Salesforce Data Integrity

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

    • Proficiency with social media: (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+)
    • Proven Experience: As a Lead Generation Specialist, Sales Associate or similar role (at least 3 year experience)
    • High Call Volume: Energy and desire to make numerous (40+) phone calls daily all while maintaining high motivation and a great attitude
    • Independent and Teamwork: Strong ability to work independently while supporting a team
    • Clear Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through email and via telephone
    • Coachability: Coachable and willing to learn
    • Sales Passion: Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
