Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Accountant, Recharging to support cost allocation, invoicing, reconciliations, documentation, and finance-related projects in a global financial services environment.
This role is ideal for accounting or finance professionals with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with large data sets, internal stakeholders, and structured finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process systematic cost allocation from group entities to funds, including invoicing.
- Define suitable allocation keys and maintain detailed cost descriptions.
- Conduct monthly reviews of journal entries and accounting reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing proper documentation for the cost allocation process.
- Review and interpret legal agreements to ensure proper cost allocation.
- Work closely with accountants, senior accountants, and team leads to improve cost allocation tools and processes.
- Assist in preparing internal memos for committees regarding new allocation keys or process changes.
- Coordinate with Finance team members and internal stakeholders to maintain data quality.
- Support training, policy updates, and cost reconciliation activities when needed.
- Participate in finance and accounting projects assigned by local management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or further education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant financial accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills or experience using tools for large data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk analysis, controls, accuracy, and process quality.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and project coordination skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Amenable to work under an agency for a 6-month contract.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with funds and investment vehicle structures is an advantage.
- Experience in a global environment is a plus.
- Audit experience is an advantage.
- Exposure to process improvement or finance transformation projects is preferred.
