Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Director / CFO to lead and oversee the organization's financial operations. This role is responsible for providing sound financial guidance to the executive team, ensuring financial stability, and supporting business growth through effective planning, reporting, analysis, and financial governance.

The ideal candidate is a strong financial leader with proven experience in senior finance management, business strategy, compliance, team leadership, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies that support the organization's growth objectives.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant financial information to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure the organization's financial stability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial partners.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, laws, policies, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure strong performance and achievement of department goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and company-wide objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Experience in a consulting, professional services, or similar business environment is preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing financial operations and supporting business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing a finance team.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Nice-to-Have:

  • MBA, CPA, or other relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership and/or board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
