Job Overview
We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Lead to own the full customer journey across multiple ecommerce markets — from the first customer touchpoint to purchase, retention, and repeat sales.
This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who can lead marketing channels, manage revenue targets, improve conversion, and ensure every marketing dollar works harder. The role will oversee customer acquisition and revenue growth across television, digital, email, SMS, social media, and Shopify ecommerce channels.
This is not a hands-off strategy role. It requires someone commercially driven, highly involved in execution, and confident in leading teams, managing partners, and making data-led decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal creative and ecommerce teams, external media partners, and the finance team to drive growth, return on ad spend, conversion, and customer acquisition performance.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Brand
- Own the marketing strategy and calendar across multiple brands and territories, including Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
- Set and protect the brand voice and positioning, and translate this into campaigns that drive sales.
- Plan launches, offers, and promotions, and brief the team to deliver them on time.
Performance and Customer Acquisition
- Own customer acquisition across paid digital, email, SMS, social media, and direct-response television, working closely with media partners.
- Hold agencies and channels accountable to clear targets for return on ad spend, customer acquisition cost, and payback.
- Manage the marketing budget and report on the return generated by each channel.
Ecommerce and Conversion
- Own the revenue and conversion performance of Shopify stores, working with the Shopify Developer to improve the customer journey from landing page to purchase.
- Drive offers, landing pages, and customer journeys that turn traffic into sales.
- Improve retention and repeat purchase through email, SMS, and customer lifecycle marketing.
Content and Channels
- Direct the content plan and brief the Graphic Designer and Social Editor on what each channel needs.
- Grow the organic and social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Ensure every channel clearly and effectively directs customers back to the website.
Team and Partner Management
- Lead, support, and develop the Shopify Developer, Graphic Designer, and Social Editor.
- Manage external media, advertising, and marketing partners to ensure strong performance and outcomes.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager on targets, budgets, and channel profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading sales and marketing in a direct-response, ecommerce, consumer, skincare, beauty, or health brand.
- Strong performance marketing background across paid digital, email, SMS, social media, and ideally direct-response television.
- Solid understanding of Shopify, ecommerce conversion, customer acquisition, retention, and the full sales funnel.
- Commercially driven, with experience owning revenue targets, marketing budgets, return on ad spend, customer acquisition cost, and profitability.
- Confident in leading and briefing designers, developers, agencies, and external marketing partners.
- Comfortable using analytics, advertising platforms, and performance data to make informed marketing decisions.
- Experience working across multiple international markets is highly advantageous.
