Job Description (Engineering – SDM Core)

Must have or be

 10+ years of experience in Telecom Core Networks.

 Strong knowledge of Subscriber Data Management (SDM) Core with 3 to 4 years of Solution

Integrator experience

 Must have strong knowledge on

o Performing system integration activities in the 5G Core network with a focus on network

functions such as NRF (Network Repository Function), UDM (User Data Management),

AUSF (Authentication Server), UDR (User Data Repository), EIR (Equipment Identity

Register) and NSSF (Network Slicing Selection Function).

o Experience as Solution Integrator with SDM products such as HSS-FE (Home Subscriber

Server Front End), CUDB (Centralised User Database), UPG (User Profile Gateway), HLR

FE (Home Location Register Front End) and preferably with CCRC (Cloud Core Resource

Controller), CCSM (Cloud Core Subscription Manager) and CCDM (Cloud Core Data-

Storage Manager)

o A solid understanding of concepts related database cluster technologies, authentication

in 5GS, network slicing and service-based interfaces in Core network

o Knowledge on automation tools such as Python, Red Hat Ansible and bash scripting

o Related certifications such as professional IP certifications (CCNA/CCNP), Ericsson 5G

Core Associate, Ericsson Certified Professional – Unified Data Management.

 Basic experience with Linux and related Virtualization technologies (any of the following:

VMWare, OpenStack, OpenShift, KVM)

 Ability to effectively translate technical procedures to the customer and identify impacts to the

project activities

 Ability to professionally document method of procedures (MOPS) and low-level designs (LLD)

that are technically accurate and aligned with high-level designs (HLD)

 Ability to review, prepare and execute Test Instructions that is aligned with the Test Object List

(TOL), collect artefacts and analyze results

 Lead Acceptance Testing and coordinate directly with the customer stakeholders involved in

acceptance of the solution

 Must possess exceptional communication skills and proven experience working with diverse

teams of technical architects, analysts, and testing team

 Got sense of urgency and capable to handle tense situation

 Positive, communicative and customer-oriented attitude
