Certified Medical Assistant – Contract Position (Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week)

Overview

This full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) contract role provides the opportunity to support essential patient care activities in a clinical setting. The CMA will assist with vaccinations, EKGs, patient rooming, and lab specimen collection/processing. This position follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and includes a virtual interview as part of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for scheduled appointments
• Administer vaccines following clinical guidelines
• Obtain and record EKGs as needed
• Collect, label, and process lab specimens using a centrifuge
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – active and valid
• Phlebotomy experience (2+ years)
• Ability to perform EKGs and administer vaccines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

Schedule & Shift Details

• Contract role – 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Daytime, onsite clinical setting
