Certified Medical Assistant (Contract) – Elgin, IL

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week Contract Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ year of Phlebotomy experience
• 1+ year of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Primary Care
  • Managed Care
  • Care Management
• Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Valid BLS certification from ARC BLS or AHA BLS

Overview

This full-time contract CMA role offers a stable weekly schedule with no weekends or on-call duties. Candidates with strong clinical and administrative skills, EPIC EMR experience, and excellent patient communication are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and administrative duties as a Certified Medical Assistant
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient records
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures
• Deliver patient-centered care with strong communication skills
• Support daily primary care operations and workflow

Schedule & Shift Details

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 1-hour lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 1-hour lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call requirements
