Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Palestine, TX | 4/3 Split Schedule

Overview

Our client is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their care team in Palestine, Texas. In this role, you will support nursing staff and provide essential hands‑on care to patients, ensuring comfort, safety, and high‑quality daily living assistance. This position offers a stable 4/3 split schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet ALL of the following:

Licensure & Certifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – State of Texas
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

Experience

• 2+ years of nursing assistant experience
• Appropriate active license

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, and providing hydration
• Provide adjunct care such as administering enemas, douches, non‑sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice/heat treatments, sitz baths, therapeutic baths, and applying restraints
• Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs, monitoring weight, testing urine, and recording intake/output
• Enhance patient comfort by transporting patients, responding to call lights, and reporting observations to nursing supervisors
• Document all actions by completing required forms, logs, reports, and records
• Follow all policies and procedures to maintain smooth work operations
• Protect patient confidentiality and uphold organizational values
• Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, federal/state/local regulations, and JCAHO requirements
• Maintain job knowledge through continuing education, professional publications, and licensure upkeep
• Support the nursing department by taking ownership of new tasks and seeking opportunities to add value
